Help the Nichols Move!

Hey everyone!

This is just a reminder that Matt and I are moving this Saturday, June 14. We are going to start at 9am. We will have food and drinks.

For their address/directions, check the class email or contact Kristin (cell # below).

It may be a little crowded for parking by our apartment since we are at a dead end and there will be a large moving truck in our driveway. You can park anywhere on the street as long as you aren't blocking someone else's driveway. If you get lost, my cell phone is 931-273-6445.

Baby Ying!

Hairong and Joseph Ying have birth to a sweet little girl on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. She was 7 lbs 13 oz & 20 in long. They named her Elizabeth Grace. They are at G'town Methodist, probably coming home today.

PLEASE pray for Ethan this morning! The bad news has been abundant recently:

October 30- Day 263 1st Update/ 6:56am [Ben] URGENT PRAYER REQUEST! Ethan has now been seizing (a seizure) for an hour and 40 minutes non stop. After thirty minutes, he began running the risk for brain damage if oxygen is limited to the brain. I am not sure when I can update again, I need to get back to holding his hand and comforting him. He is shaking uncontrollably, but we both agreed it was important to get you guys praying. If the seizures do not subside, Ethan will not be eligible for further CHEMO treatment. Please hit a knee (literally). PRAY HARD! PRAY NOW! And Please BeLIeVe... PRAYER WORKS!!!

Class Emails

Several people have requested to be added to the class email list recently or have indicated that they haven't been receiving emails. If you've been experiencing difficulty, my advice is to go to www.googlegroups.com, sign in, click on the Highland BridgeBuilders' group and click on "edit my membership" on the right sidebar.

If you receive abridged or digest versions of the email, those are sometimes delayed (though I have no clue why). The most reliable way to receive emails are to choose the "email" option. While this can be annoying when girls are signing up to bring meals, etc, it is also the best way to receive an email (such as the one Nick sent out about class on Friday) immediately as it is sent.

Another option, if you just can't stand the amount of emails, is to check the google groups page daily. Each email that is sent out is posted as a "message" in the discussions portion of the homepage. You can see the most current emails that way as well.

Again, to access that BridgeBuilders' google groups page, you can either go to www.googlegroups.com, sign in, and click on our group on the right side of the page OR you can go directly to the homepage website (it will probably prompt you to sign in): http://groups.google.com/group/highlandbridgebuilders

Also, if you know of anyone that would like to receive our class emails, you are welcome to invite them into the group without going through me. Simply go to the BridgeBuilders' google groups homepage, and click on "invite members"...I'm not sure if everyone has the "Add members directly" option, but that's what I always choose to directly add members to the list. "Inviting" a person to the group will send them an email giving them an option to join the group.

Fall Party

Hello everyone,

This is just a reminder that our fall party is scheduled for October 14 at 5pm. We are having it at Priddy Farms in Bartlett. The cost is $18 per couple/family. This includes hotdogs and fixins, drinks, and s'mores. We will go on a hayride and pick pumpkins. There is also a great play area for kids as well as a train ride. Bring your cameras because there are places to take great family photos. You may want to bring chairs to sit in as there are not many picnic tables. If you have any questions, please email Kristin Nichols (kristinnichols1031@yahoo.com) or Jean Bostic (jeanbostic@hotmail.com). Also, feel free to invite friends who are not members of our class. This would be a great outreach opportunity.
